Far Black Furlong

Several lifetimes ago, I spent a magical decade living and working in the numinous landscapes of the Welsh/English borders. Whilst there I helped form an ensemble with local musicians with the aim of channeling the genii loci of those regions. We took as our moniker the old name of a field near the village of Edgton.

With over ten years having elapsed since completion, we are finally releasing the last album we made together, Stars Coppice, as a digital download on our Bandcamp page. This page archives all recordings from 2005 – 2007, including my personal favourite Full Gathering Moon which was recorded for Timothy The Revelator’s ‘Folklore Of The Moon’ series.
